Last night I used my Prime Rewards and rented "Singing in the Rain" being as how my DH couldn't remember if he had ever seen it or not. (He hadn't.) So fun to watch a light, airy, nonserious and funny musical. All that dancing! Last time I saw it was when I was a senior in high school, and got so much more out of it this time. DH enjoyed it.

Yesterday it was 94F and today will be 84F. We will stay cool until next week when we see triple digit highs again.

The low will be 44F on Wednesday here. The high will be 76F. Temps go up from there.

We just got in from the timber. Three loads of wood hauled up to barn. My appt with the new Rheumy is coming up at the end of the month and DH has another MOHS scheduled for a lesion on his face in July. Third one in 6 months. Geesh! So we are trying to get the wood up to the house this month and then we can take our time splitting it.

You guys are evil. I went to bed last night thinking of and trying to remember old commercial jingles.

I know! It was cold this morning in the living room. I shivered a bit. It was down to 52F this morning and that is too cold here in the summer!

I would still give them honey water with electrolytes in it just for today,

I got them Saturday, so tonight (Monday) will be their third night here. I think the Jubilee Orp is a couple days older than the Blues; I thought she said the Orps were hatched Wednesday. I think the Blues were Thursday. I have Save-a-Chick in their water.

Sorry you lost one. It has been a bad year for that so far.

That's what the breeder said! She said a LOT of hatches have gone south everywhere, commercial, breeders, and backyards. She told me someone kind of jokingly suggested it was all the 5G towers... but maybe that could be part of it.

Anyone heard anything about that?
