Good morning, OF. "Chickens to bake, and chickens to fry"

Not traditional breakfast fare but I'm on my way over!I had such a deep feeling of empathy for you when I read your post. I am glad you are able to open up and share on here and find support. Intervals of month long waits between each visit is a long time.. doubts and discouragement try to squeeze into our thoughts so we need those friends! What a wonderful post. Thank you so much Lovesfarms.
Last night I got a call from Hannibal and the clinic that is associated with the hospital there that employs the doctor I saw asking me if I felt that my concerns had been addressed with the doctor I saw. NO was my emphatic answer. Then Would you recommend the doctor you saw to your friends? An ABSOLUTELY NOT! to that question. I opted out of other questions at that point. I think they got the message.
More than one way to skin a cat.
@Hayden Goseek. I LOVE that last line. What a marvelous response. What is making me chuckle is that this babe thought she was talking to non medical people. Surprise. I told my husband that I admired his self control. I kept mine until I couldn't any more and then raised my voice and hammered her. When I did that she backed off, muttered about MRI's and X-Rays and you can step out of the room then...and fled. I knew at that point that I wasn't going to get anywhere with her as far as answers and advice was concerned and had nothing to lose. DH said that he would have said something sooner than I did but she had a heavy Pakistani accent and was a low/fast talker. And he has bad hearing. He said he didn't hear half of what she said but heard enough. I told him he was lucky.
I never would have thought of looking for papers published. Thank you for the idea.Hence the reason we search for those Drs who graduated at the top of their class. (Look for a Dr who has published research papers on your illness -it shows he has knowledge and puts forth extra effort)
When my DW went to UC Davis Med Center for her broken wrist, she was bumped up to a full Professor for her surgery. He had published papers and did research on the best way to approach the surgery.I never would have thought of looking for papers published. Thank you for the idea.
Have a safe and happy 4th!
