The Old Folks Home

If y'all want a good laugh, google 'chicken shaming memes' and enjoy.

Happy Sunday all!

Just imagine if all the monetary waste that the government produces was turned towards energy research. Imagine.........

Have a good day all! And remember. Things could be worse. We, whether we live in America, Canada, England or where ever in the free world are not as bad off as the poor souls who are trapped or live in Afghanistan right now.

We should count our blessings.

Beer can, I've been saying for years that bio-fuel is a much better alternative. As to emissions, since we began building cars with catalytic converters, the emission levels are exceedingly low. The problem is not as much in the US, as in other countries. Most other countries do not require the same standards as we do.

We're thinking she might get a bit bigger, but she's wonderful the size she is.
If she's a year old it is probably good that you like her current size :D

Two words. SHOP VAC. Big powerful water and mud sucking shop vac.
Is there some way to use them without having to move them somewhere when full to empty then then go back to the water to get more?

I'm going to have to look more into it see one site harnessing the energy of cars driving on roads, generator works off that
You mean like hybrid cars? Ain't no free lunch. It takes energy to get up to speed, up a mountain (for your referenced gravity thought), etc. I don't know of any way you could recover the energy needed to do that. Hybrid cars recover some of it when slowing down using the electric motor as a generator.

I suppose there could be some way to use the rotation of the axles to create some electricity but would that then require more energy to keep the vehicle going at speed?

Alcohol and bio fuelsprob a better alternative for vehicles than electric IMHO.
Would like to test drive one of those electric supercars though, thousand horsepower zero to sixty in two seconds or less
Probably break your neck in the process ;)

Alcohol and biofuels require energy to create, same as solar panels and wind turbines. Corn based ethanol for example. Great for the farmer growing the corn but how much diesel fuel, water and chemical fertilizers does it take to grow and harvest the corn then how much energy to convert it to ethanol and get it to the filling stations?

And, if you look at E85 "flex fuel" vehicles available that also have a regular "E10" engine, the E85s running ON E85 use more fuel per mile. Approximately 25% more in the
2020 Chevy Impala Again great for the corn growers and alcohol creators. Maybe not so good for the person buying fuel.

had visitor this morning was in the area i'm working on for the new birds
