That was what inspired me. Excellent venting for on hot summer days (I'll probably add a shade cloth too).

I want a solid roof over the run, but don't want to use tarps as I did last year, because it was dark and gloomy in there. I'm hoping the extra light will help my 17 week old pullets lay this fall/winter...

AHA! I've seen many of really really expensive horse facilities with those when I lived in Ocala, FL.. Just never knew what that they were called that. Learn something new every day. Now if I can only remember it.

Never heard it called that before, but it's a good one. I need to go check on the lady who gave me Peg the Wyandotte... But I can't remember her name. Was never good at names to begin with, even when I tried the association thing

from what I can gather it's a raised area over the center of a barn or stable, provides ventilation keeps the inside of the structure dry
