MIL hasn't done any holidays since FIL died. We've had them at our house. I can't stand the noise, too many kids. And knowing I can't just leave when getting late, have to wait for all them to leave.
Oldest DD and her BF were supposed to do Thanksgiving in their new home had a modular on full basement/garage put in months ago but still not finished.... Not sure when they will get garage doors either. Company said they had to wall door ways in for now or couldn't get approval to live in. They were lucky they purchased it last Dec, were told it would cost $30,000 xtra if they waited. Hopefully they can host by Christmas
