Hang....Dang! That's some nice fencing, and netting! Chickens should be safe with that going on. You've been busy, and sounds like you are going to be more busy. With those woods behind you, looks like you need the netting. Looks great!

Hangtown, were did you find that bird netting? You have a real nice looking setup, water should drain quite well for you.

Thanks. I like the snow pic too. it shows it can hold snow on the top though i like to kick it off with a broom from time to time.
I get the netting off ebay
its called 2" heavy duty poultry netting. think it will come up under 2" heavy duty bird netting too

SCG keep your spirits up! Spring is just around the corner now!

The end is in sight. We got a layer of ice on top of the snow overnight but temps jumped 10 degrees in the last 4 hours to 32 but the freezing rain will be coming for the next couple hours. Then up into the 40s, 60 tomorrow and high of 50s the rest of the week. 4 more days of rain this week though so it will be a muddy mess as the snow melts and ground thaws. Next week, back into the teens at night.
I'm planting beets, radish, turnips and winter peas in the chicken runs.
Long range forecast looks like I can start up the automatic waterers by about the third of March. What a relief.
