Morning everyone! Christmas is less than a week away now. Hard to believe 2021 is winding down and not on a high note.

Everyone take care and be careful. Being vaccinated means squat with the Omicron variant. Don't be stubborn. Wear a mask and practice social distancing while in public places. No one is invincible.

We finally got out in the timber yesterday. It wasn't warm by a long shot but we went out for about an hour. Mother Nature gifted us with a lot of downed wood. Mainly 6-8 inch sized trunks and miracle of miracles, some of them are even easily accessed!

I'm starting to get the itch to bake Christmas cookies but I wait till Christmas eve or they won't survive through the holiday. I don't bake a lot. Neither of us need the calories, just one batch of oatmeal raisin/chocolate chip cookies and maybe some sugar cookies which DH loves.

I did 4 batches yesterday 4 more today.
I am being a shit .. Gave my bud hatch of 9.
Maybe 4 pullets she is homeless kinda right now. She still is our Post Mistress.
Anyway I asked she come over help me move them to my empty small coop .. Finally said if you want them help me get them set up .. Otherwise I can sell them.

Those are normally the big soft cookies with icing you find at the local supermarket.
