I have 5 ft welded wire going up today .. There was field wire all around when we bought the place 4 ft .. little dog I rescued could walk through it. Added 4 ft chicken wire to the entire place .. Got Snow escape artist excellent..
Bought 5 ft wire on top of the 4 with t posts of 6 1/2 height. All where dogs could reach.

I don't quite have the budget you do.. And I have to go around 32 feet of cattle panels at the bottom.

Update started 5 ft field fence outside the old fence..
Neighbor with dog walked out. She said it was theirs but they had euthanized the dog already. She had not known birds died.. We are taking a break as old folks we deserve it.

If she didn't know it had killed the birds... why was it euthanized? Did it bite a kid?

Happy Friday all. The sun is out bright here but it is COLD. It's like walking into a freezer outside. No warmth to the sun at all, unfortunately.

I went out and turned the heat lamp on for the birds. The coop was cold although none of the water was frozen. They are calling for another storm to roll through with rain/snow early this next week. Gee...and the road was just starting to have some bare spots show.

It's been a full month since we got garbage service. 4 calls to the company got me nowhere. Even though they have a clause that says if they haven't picked up our garbage in 15 days it would be considered to be a breach of contract on their part, they won't let us out of our contract with them to go to another cheaper company. They did get tired of my complaining and renegotiated our service with them which cut our payment to 52 dollars a month which is at least bearable but our dumpster runnith over.. I am now of the opinion that monopolies suck.
