Good morning old Folks. I get the day to myself today, Men are headed to shop for me.
We changed the phone company that has our cell phones.
The person at store entered our location wrong transposed the zip code.
When I was still on the old phone I called the tech support.

We are in the 40'sm, there are many micro climates here.

I think I've got the Christmas shopping done. Decided to support local businesses and so am making gift baskets of things produced/packaged in our village. It's wonderful to see that post-Covid we're getting A LOT of boutique businesses popping up. Lots of money being pumped into our commercial district by entrepreneurs and consumers. I understand we're even getting a bakery!

The highlight of my day, though, was when I went out to the coop and one of the newbie chickens (well, they're all newbie freshman sorority sisters) squatted for me. Hooray! Perhaps I won't have to wait for Spring for them to start laying.

Up since 8 have a fire in the stove going nice and warm.
