Had my bone density test yesterday. Went to Danville for class. It was enjoyable, but by the time i got out of the car at Lowes, it was sprinkling. Once i got into the garden center, it was pouring. I got drenched!

Went for annual eye exam today. Seeing 2020 out past my arms length. No lasting damage from the hen peck in the eye. So glad to be rid of those cataracts.

We just let our wild ferns stay wild. Mom used to love Boston Ferns.

Rain 3 days in a row had put an end to the drought that had started. The chickens love the cooler air the showers bring in the evening. It's been to hot to sit on the porch and rock.

Good morning Old Folks the heat wave has passed.

Still was pretty warm here today. It’s 72 now which is just perfect!

The frost warning proved to be a big nothing. Very glad of that.

I'm hoping they're right and we get rain tomorrow. It's been pretty darn dry! I need a reason to stay inside and get stuff done. Like play with my new chicks!
