I hatched them out so they are like big friendly pets! The DW was concerned because one of them got out...how do I get it back into the run? I walked over to the door, opened it and pointed to the opening and she walked right in!

No nets and shooing needed

That's what i do with the goats. Tell them, Get in the barn. They go.

I took multiple storage bins full of old hay off the barn floor. It's a start. Also pulled several bins of weeds out near the holly bushes in front of the barn. Feels like 82°, almost 9 pm.

I got drenched even with a rain jacket on that had a hood. It's been a long time since we have had a storm like this one. I'm not going to complain and maybe the wet hens won't get to mad. There are a lot of my kids missing. I hope the ongoing storming keeps the predators inside there houses for the night. Only one of my dark cornish hens is safe in a coop tonight.

The sanitation department now knows our address exists. They'll resume pick up on the next regularly scheduled day.

Remember when I mentioned that this new medication, the recommended daily dose is 600 mg. a day, for 21 days, BUT they don't make it in a 600 mg dose. They make 200 mg tablets only, so to get the 600 mg dose, I have to take 3 of the 200 mg. tablets. That's 63 tablets a month. My doctor ordered a month supply, to see how I would tolerate it. It's time to renew the prescription, so I emailed the doctor.

I got an interesting response. The doctor sent the prescription, BUT the insurance company is denying to pay for it, because I already got 63 tablets, and that's a 3 month supply. Apparently, they too were under the impression that they were paying for 600 mg. tablets, not 3 x 200 mg. tablets. They're getting it sorted out.

Sometimes just getting a prescription filled is a challenge.

We used to be able to get DH's prescription in a 3 month amount. Slight cost savings, big hassle savings. Now we have to get it every month because insurance can't get their head out of the dark place.

I did talk to the pharmacist about the possibility of needing it a few days early at times (going on vacation) and he said he could take care of that.

I just saw some of the white giants go running across their favorite playground. I'm heading out to see what all happened after I swallow my morning meds. Tonight the weather is a repeat of last night.
