Wind was howling here and is supposed to be colder yet i the morning. The kids will have feed and water in their coops and will not get out until we get home from medical appointments a coupe of counties away. They may be upset with me but they will forget about it after a bate of scratch.

Good morning! We've had 2.42" of rain since Sunday, light showers still happening between sunny spells, but more on the way. At least we're not getting clobbered like some folks on the East Coast, wow!

The chooks are out pecking, scratching and sunning themselves, enjoying the break in the wet weather. Wish I could hang out with them and pull some of the lush weeds for them, but must finish holiday food shopping instead...

Good morning, OF. There was a skiff of snow on the deck this morning. Wind is not my friend.

Skiff? Is that a little more or less than a peck?

I got the snowflake cookies done. They're drying. Yesterday I baked the Christmas tree cookies, and am doing the background flow icing on them now. I'll finish with the detailing tomorrow. I got a few sizes of aluminum pans with the clear lids, and some tissue paper, so I can make the whole thing look presentable. They may not looks quite as good as some of the professional ones, but they don't look shoddy, and they taste great. Whew! They're a LOT of Work. I have the upper back, and should aches to prove it, from hunching over them for long periods of time.
