Wow, looking at the major rainstorms hitting the East Coast from Florida to Maine, lots of serious flooding -- hope all-o-y'all East Coasters are safe & doing okay! Parts of South Carolina already got over 11" of rain - DANG! And I thought we were wet here along the northern Pacific Coast!

Last push to get everything cleaned, 3-year-old-proofed and decorated before DD1 & family arrive! Mid-50s now, SUN has actually come out (!!!) and the pullets are cheerfully chickening-about in their open outer run. A lull, as much more rain's coming from another Pacific cyclone about to "brush" the coast but so far no trees down or power lost from the one that's just passed. Still predicting clear weather the morning our folks fly in, thank heavens!
