The Old Folks Home

Thanks ChickenCanoe, I am useing the grower/ finisher by Dumor from TSC along with oyster shells, grit, grass, scraps and left overs.
I have not seen any mold in or on anything.

I hear ya. Those are just the three most common things that can cause eggs to shrink noticeably.

Cynthia, I have seen CalfManna at my local Cal Ranch store and I wouldn't be surprised if the IFA's don't carry it too.

I just saw that this morning. My problem with that science is that I saw a study about a year ago with completely opposite conclusions.

Oz only you would find an experiment over the "5 second rule". You do realize that it is not peer reviewed yet though right?

ChickenCanoe, I did think it was interesting that women were more likely to eat something that fell on the floor but also most likely to follow the 5 second rule. I will admit that I have eaten items that fell on the floor but there are a few more stipulations for me than just the 5 second rule. That is just the last go/no go rule. If the floor looks dirty, no matter how little time the item was on the floor I will not eat it (unless the item was still sealed in a wrapper). If the item is "wet" I am not very likely to eat it if it fell on the floor no matter how little time. If the floor is wet, I probably won't eat the item. If the item is in a wrapper, I will unwrap it and eat it unless the floor was wet and now the wrapper looks dirty.

OK so its not in a journal just yet... But the source is very credible.

If you get out the microscope you will see in the fine print that the floor of chicken coops are not assessed ladies.

A NURSE who taped over the mouth of a patient wept throughout his court appearance on a charge of assault as the trial heard that the incident was a "moment of complete stupidity".
