The heat index is 106° so that has stopped our progress in it's tracks. I did manage to stage the things we need by the garden but that is as far as I got after the ground was tilled one last time.

Never got above 64 here drizzle fell most the day.

We are down to 83° and getting a heavy rain. It's a real frog drowner today.

Forgot to do the Post reply on the above post hours ago. It's 80° here now. Well after dark with coons and foxes on the prowl by now. Even the coyotes.

Not that late here 8:25 We still have close the coops.
I did find a hidden nest in the hazelnut trees only had 2 eggs.

We got close to two inches of rain last night! I'd rather have had it spread it out a bit, but I'll it. I really didn't want to spend my time watering today. So many other things to do today.
