I made fish and chips in the air fryer. It was fast and easy, but I did peal off a section of my finger with the potato peeler!

I was a bit tired last night though. It has been busy this week here at the University.

Oh I hate it when that happens!!!

Our weather just went from bad to worse. Now that awful 4 letter word is in our forecast for Tuesday during the day. "SNOW". What will my chickens think? They are not fond of frost even.

Good Morning Old Folks

Good morning to you too. It really isn't that good outside. We are supposed to have snow here in Tennessee. I hate that. Yesterday it was in the 60s! Much better than my old home in Wisconsin.

We moved to TN in 2016 from FL when we both had retired. Loved it for 4 years but as the ice age returned and our orchard didn't bear any fruit at the elevation we were at we made the decision to split the difference and give southern Alabama a chance. So far so good. I don't expect any snow here to stick for more than a few hours. If it does we will survive. I just am glad the fruit trees are not in bloom.

For 2 years our fig trees have winter killed when they started to grow and then froze. The figs were sprouted this spring winter already and now the cold will winter kill them again. Dang maybe no figs. My wife absolutely loves figs.
