We just received the greatest news of our lives:

The petitions for adoption for both our kids are finalized.

We are now officially parents.

Its still a 6-9 month journey to get them to the USA but its really happening

Congratulations Oz!! That is fantastic news!

Yes, we will all live in CA.

I will still go back there three times a year for the farm but will save a lot of money on additional trips and Mrs Oz' airfares - a good $10,000 per year.

This is minor news compared to Oz and wife's long fought and earned great results.

I didn't know what ovations were but they're the little thumbs up button in the lower right of each post.

I got a PM from Nifty-Chicken saying "Congrats On Your BYC Ovations! You're one of the top 0.1%!!"

He added, "Well, out of literally hundreds of thousands of members, your name was in the top 0.1% (yes, that’s 1/10 of one percent) with the most ovations received! GREAT JOB!!! It’s fantastic to see other members helping to recognize the contributions you’ve made to our wonderful community."

Pretty cool.
