I used to fish with whatever I could find when I was a kid. We had a stream through the farm and a pond. Most of the summer it was too dry to find worms but when worms were scarce, crickets and especially grasshoppers were plentiful.Had no idea about the crickets and I'm southern
Where are they coming from? I bought eggs a year and a half ago from one source, about 5 breeds including legbars and 3 varieties of marans. They were supposedly Bev Davis lines and probably were but I don't think the farm I got them from did much selective breeding because the eggs weren't dark at all. 2 varieties were as light as rock eggs and the third was just slightly darker. It's amazing how quickly quality can be lost in just a few generations of carelessness.
i just have the 1 little giant 9300. I want some of ur orps eggs whenever u can.
