The Old Folks Home

We eat squirrel, gator, and rattlesnake. Cook a squirrel exactly like a pot roast. Same exact seasonings and its done when the back leg pulls off easilly. Rattlesnake is good deep fried. I tasted one of the best meats ever while tailgating at a university of alabama versus florida gator football game...pecan wood smoked alligator. It was fine fine

Where is Skipperville?
Have you seen any cook books or recipes for cooking animals that are not the norm?
You sound adventurous, I wish my husband was a little more adventurous.
How many squirrels does it take to cook as a pot roast for 2?

The best meat i have ever tasted was slow cooked wart hog on a kraal in Zimbabwe

We tried all sorts of clove footed animals there but nothing was mor moist and tender than this ugly little cousin to the domestic pig
What is a kraal?
Wart hogs are dangerous, aren't they? Best reason to eat one. LOL

was hoping for possum and armadillo but my neighbor must have saw them down on the paved road. The armadillo looked like it was hit by a log truck. Those are usually very tender.....had to use 80/20 ground beef instead tonight. Tomorrow morning will be a different menu if im quicker than my neighbors

I didn't realize you had answered this. I did read that you were just joking but I was assuming that you might go hunting or where you live might stock some in a specialty store.
