Ok, I miss ONE day and you guys have so many threads going at once I got a headache trying to sort out who was talking about what!

Let's see if I got this right;

there is another screwed up farm bill
someone is starting a gourmet canned roadkill and/or squirrel business with Diva on the label
a bunch of people either did or didn't eat out as kids
somebody is thinking of having bbq'd Pit Bull
Bamadude hit Bingo!!!

Is that about right?

All I have to say is that if my mother had ever lost her can opener I would have starved to death so I was very grateful for school hot lunch and take out burgers!!!
(oh and my Granny and her wonderful home cooking)

When I was a little kid in the '50's the newest thing was instant rice, potatoes, TV dinners. So I mostly had things out of a can or a box. Everybody was thrilled at the time saving. So I didn't learn to cook or bake. Never from scratch.

Oh man! I loved all of those: Coneheads, Monty Python and Princess Bride! I have my father to thank for a lot of the older comedy, especially the English comedy. Love their sense of humor!
