I have this weird thing where overhyping movies makes me want to not see them. This is the case with Princess Bride for me, everyone is always so excited about it, that I haven't wanted to watch it. Perhaps it would be time to just get it over with and finally cross that one off of my watchlist.

I think some of these movies you had to have seen when you were a kid to appreciate them as an adult. Apparently I missed out on the princess bride, because the first I heard of it I was a senior in high school. My peers chose it for "movie day" during graduation week to be played in the theatre. I was bored out of my skull and hope to never, ever, see that movie again.

Now, the three amigos! ... I will watch that. I loved it as a kid, still appreciate it as an adult. I could also watch the good the bad and the ugly (it is so a kids movie, just ask my dad) until the cows come home. And my favorite kids movie I just recently rented from Netflix and sincerely enjoyed again, confusing them and causing my queue to become overridden with Disney movie suggestions:
