I have got to share because I "can't" share on FB yet. My daughter told me this past weekend that she is pregnant with our first grandchild!I am honestly really happy to be a grandma for the first time. I thought I might not like the idea of someone calling me "Grandma" but I just have visions of spoiling this child (and all others that come along the way) horribly and giving them back to their parents. I can't wait!![]()

I am not allowed to share the news yet because they have not told her fiancée's mom yet. She told me that they were going to wait until Christmas. Hmmmmm 6 months pregnant? Not gonna last that long. In fact I told her I wasn't going to make it to Christmas so they needed to change their plans.![]()
In the mean time, I got a new lens yesterday and had a little fun with it. Can't wait to take it out for a full spin this weekend.

Ok, this is an official invitation to join our quilting group on BYC. Our next swap is not due until Dec 1 so lots of time to put stuff together.
Come over to my profile page and you can find links to quilting blocks. Hope to see you there.
My chickens love, love apples.
They make pretty nice affordable lenses. I have a Sigma DG 70-300 F1:4-5.6. It's the cheapo version without a stabilizer, and needs loads of light to function, but on sunny days you get really nice closeups. It is the Sigma 105mm F2.8 macro. I have been waiting for six weeks for it to show up. I was so happy to finally get it yesterday afternoon.![]()
