I have two hens with 21 chicks between them!  They are not raising them together, each has her own brood, but they are cohabitating in the same 8x8 pen!

That's a lot.
I didn't get my broodies moved last night but I vow to do so today as well as move the 40 young chicks to new quarters and pull all the chicks out of the hatcher.

If i was the store owner, he would have never made it outside after robbing me. Thugs comei all colors and shapes. In my opinion they should be shooting the looters.

That would thin the herd.

I also have a male black copper Marans, a male wheaten Marans, 2 silkies, and 2 polish. Gonna have some nice oe hopefully. Anybody know an easy way to sex silkies and polish?

I only know of one easy way, but you have to be a silkie (or a polish) for it to work.......
