Outside!

Ah, the magical world of Outside. The one that kids think is all Disneyland.

I was wondering because it is so humid here, nothing is evaporating.
Try using a fan to get the moisture off. If it is that humid, do not mist them though. If the moisture does not dry off the eggs, bacteria can build up.

I mist eggs that are rare or hard to hatch, like shipped penedesenca eggs. For the daily cooling, I just change a setting on my Brinsea. I did use cooling and misting on some SG dorking eggs hatched in a Genesis 1588. It worked like a charm.

The key to weight loss isn't avoiding feasts, it's the every day diet. Enjoy the heck out of the festival, and think about what you're eating on weekdays instead.

True statement. I went on a "diet" except it wasn't a diet, it was a choice to change how I was eating for the rest of my life. I eat a lot healthier these days and the extra pounds slowly came off and stay off because I choose to continue to eat healthy. This doesn't mean I don't get to have sweets (I have ice cream or sherbet almost every night) but I just watch the portions. I do "pig out" on occasion but I don't let it concern me because my regular diet is pretty lo-cal. For me, if I go on an actual "diet" and deny myself any treats, then I just binge when the "diet" is over.

Dang it Wisher ;) you had me hoping I could post my picture, but it is still not working for me. I even tried using Chrome and no joy. :/

That sounds like a Bolivian Rainbow chili. They go through 5 different colors while maturing, and all 5 stages can be visible on the plant simultaneously. Pretty things.

They're beautiful.

Speaking of ethnic food.

My son prepared a 4 course private 2 seating vegan dinner at the Tree House last night. I wish I had bought a ticket.

1st course
Okonomiyaki (savory Japanese pancake), shredded vegetable pancake with smoked sweet corn, raw zucchini, romesco vinaigrette, fresh avocado, tempeh bacon.

2nd course
Wild mushroom, toasted walnut and oven dried tomato stuffed agnolotti masala cashew cream sauce, flash fried Brussels sprouts, fresh herbs.

3rd course
Smoked tofu Tikka Masala, summer squash, garlic naan and cucumber-dill raita

4th course
Peach-berry compote and rhubarb curd tart, vanilla-cardamom crème anglaise, orange-chocolate habanero ice cream.
