The Old Folks Home

I hate to say this, but that plain tomato sandwich sounds better to me than all the gourmet type sandwiches. There is just something about a delicious home grown tomato that just can't be beat.

Methinks the surgeon general or corporal whatever would Rule this thread as the major cause of obesity in this country !! That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I'm NOT fat, I'm FLUFFY! The diva has spoken. Pass the Miracle Whip.

You guys make me giggle ...... I really need that....

Diva, Miracle Whip? That sounds horribly artificial. And after checking what it is, confirmed. Get some real mayo instead, much better. Better yet, make some. All you need is some yolk, some oil, a splash of vinegar and some salt. Super simple.

This thread merely informs about the existence of wonderful food things, you yourself must still make them. Unless Oz is willing to deliver, in which case I'll have the egg plant panine.

Oooh Miracle whip on Baloney sandwiches.... Has to be the White bread that has NO nutritional value..... OH yum... That and old fashioned pasta salad made with it.... Only two ways I eat Miracle whip.

Best foods on the West coast and Helmans on the east coast.... My preference.

I have made Aioli... Like that too. But grew up with Best Foods...

@Chickadoodle s That's 56 inches by 8 feet, so enough for 9-ish hens. The total height ground to roof is 6 feet. It will be enclosed with lots of windows and vents (and auto door to the run). The interior will have a roost shelf at one end and exterior nesting boxes at the other. One 8-foot side will have doors to open up for clean out and I'm hoping for a cleanout half door up by the poop shelf so I can scoop from the outside (there being a shallow box contraption under the roost containing PDZ). If I get real engineery, the poop shelf box may be a slide-out drawer mechanism.

And -- you nailed it -- nails go very quick! Something tells me Lowes may think I'm a groupie before this project is done.
