The Old Folks Home

Yum.... I actually made that Homer Simpson noise reading that... No clue how to covey it in text

Best written representation..... Oohhhmmmmm... and copious amounts of drool...

enjoying vicariously.... and playing chicken with a HUGE bowl of Halloween candy.... Of course I bought it.... thats why its the kind with Heath bars and Rollos and Twix and Reeses pieces, and MILK Duds.....

Having a sugar episode now just thinking about them.

It seems that I'm able to upload pictures now lol. Pictures are of our set up, the 2 big brooder boxes in the barn, our dp meaties and duck area and our egg layers area. We have meat rabbits too, and food I make, and yes, even a goofy picture of my bf and me taken 2 weekends ago. Not beautiful by magazine standards, but I think the picture conveys how happy we are in general.

There are other pictures of stuff I grew this year, I'm a huge fan of how the German Johnson tomatoes turned out and the ghost peppers did excellent this year here for me.

Hungry - I saw someone mention chocolate and whipped cream - two of my favorite food groups, meat, potatoes, ice cream make up the rest. A balanced meal to me is Chocolate malted in one hand, and Rocky road ice cream(cone_ in the other. Even when I used to work out with free weights, I would pause between each set to scarf down a candy bar. Exercise is over rated, never seemed to lose a pound doing it.

@Double Kindness Lovely pictures!

Robo, welcome, that rotating run thing is something I'd like to try as well.

Wisher, I thought we were supposed to blame Alaskan for everything? But I can take the blame for that one...

@Cynthia12 You also might want to check out "No knead bread" on google, takes some time, but not much effort. And like the name suggests, no need to knead, which is pretty neat.

If we pay the ransom do we get Bama back? I'm having withdrawal symptoms. You don't appreciate the worth of Bama, until he's not here.

Maybe we can have someone take his place in jail. Kinda like Hunger Games when she volunteers so her sister isn't taken. The nearest match is Vehve. They can alternate in and out of detention.
I never get caught. I walk a thin line, but tend to stay (barely) on the right side of it (or left, depending which way you're looking from). Anyway, the non-wrong side of the law. Clean as a whistle, I am. Never catch me doing something forbidden. My virtue knows no bounds, never seen anything naked, not even a newly born baby. (That last bit was a badly translated line from a Swedish drinking song).

This is the Bread Maker I bought, same seller, same price.

And this is how the bread turned out. And yes! It tastes soo good! I'm so happy and excited that it worked. Chicka, I am excited to try the jams also. And, I'm glad to hear that your hands are doing better with some help. :)

That loaf of bread looks wonderful! I may have to add that bread maker to my wish list. lol I keep some blue berries and strawberries in the freezer for fresh jam.
I would also love the 2 blades for mixing the bread dough so much. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, my hands are better and I feel like a new person again!
