The Old Folks Home

Good job @Alaskan you know if you plant something vining you would truly have a stealth coop.

I don't think that there is anything vining that would actually live at my house, and there is definitely no evergreen vining something.

It IS a bit, uh,

at present since I hid it in a thicket of DECIDUOUS brush!!!!! But, well

1. there was no spruce patch right where I needed it

2. I didn't think it would be quite THIS visible when all the leaves dropped.

It definitely looks very much NOT stealth right now.....it could be worse, the brush does provide some cover. Ah well, not about to move it now.

Alaskan how do you get your birds to lay eggs in that wire basket - makes it so much easier to collect them

Not only that, but there are chicken eggs AND quail eggs too!

Alaskan, not that it will help now but hops should grow there no problem. You zone 3? I'm zone 3 and those hops are like a weed, rip 'em up and through them in the compost boom new hops patch. And man they will climb anything... Plus the chickens don't care to eat them.
