Oh and I learned something today...
Ducks can't see in the dark... At all. And neither can I .... And carrying ducks in the dark in the rain to put them away is a bad idea.... Remembering it gets dark early is important.

That is why I have a water proof head lamp!

They where out in the yard... They didn't go back to the pen ( where there is light ) I needed a head lamp. Live and learn

i still havnt cooked it. I have 1 more that is almost as big still growing. Im thinking about trying them on kabobs. We love grilled veggies

Mm, fish and chips is tasty. I don't have a big enough pot to do it properly at home, and I haven't found any places that would serve a nice serving of it around here, so I just have to make do with fish fingers and fries.

Last night's picture. This was at 11:13 PM. At about 8 I got a picture of a mink but it's so small and on the right of the field of view it's hard to see. The white pipe behind the coon in the last picture is the mink trap.
Both ignored the trap and nothing in the live trap either.

Aww, that's a cute raccoon. Which I can safely say from thousands of kilometers away. Probably not a very welcome visitor though. He looks good, nice and fat and good looking fur. You'll get a nice hat out of him.
