I'm not that big of a fan of turkey, so I don't eat it that often.

Karin goes hunting with a couple of old guys sometimes, and at the beginning of the season they tend to be a bit out of practice, which leads to wounded birds. Karin tells me that when Vaiva fetches them, she will come back with a duck in her mouth that's holding it's head up and wondering what's going on, that has to be horrible.

Aww poor ducky. My DSO mom's dog retrieved one of my best hens once. Puncture wounds wern't pretty. Dog is not allowed out of the car now at our place.

Ouch. My moms weird little hunting dog grabbed one of my pullets once nasty puncture wounds in her leg, she healed fine with some care.
