deb, I don't connect my hard drives through USB. I use SATA cables. After you clone, unplug the SATA cable, and power cable to the drive, and leave the drive in the bay, then it's all safe, and ready to go next time you do a back up, or need to swap drives. I even have my cables marked, so there is no screw up when swapping drives. It's fast, and easy. As to sending files to your clients, using a jump drive would probably be best. When business gets to the point that you are spending a lot on jump drives, consider a web page (godaddy.com) where you can upload the files, and when each file is clicked, it asks for a code, or password, which can be different for each customer, and you just email the file name, or number, and the code or password to the customer so they can access, and download their file(s), AFTER THEY HAVE PAID FOR THEM. LOL!
