Took me a while for them to grow on me. Here's a different one..my DH says, they look like turkey, some say..hawks.

I love, love, love the naked necks. I think they're adorable as chicks, humorous yet beautiful as adults, and easy to pluck as meat birds. I wish I was able to sell them more easily so I could hatch them more.

My incubator was pretty rock solid temp wise last night!! High of 97.1, low of 96.3 on the bed according to the memory since I actually slept through the night last night (I won't again for a few months now that I've hit my quota). The egg turner - I'm still not sure it's working. I know it moves reallllllly slow but every time I look in there it is always in the same spot. Hopefully my water wiggler will come today. I think my first set of eggs is also coming today, the rest should be here Friday. At least it's not going to be as cold as earlier predictions, it will remain above zero for shipping.

I think the pip has a second crack in it.....otherwise it's all pretty quiet and still in there temps going good humdity solid did notice a slight 66% 1 degree increase of the humdity reading but thats supose to happen with the moist wet chickes maybe that goes from a crack in the egg also........
