The Old Folks Home

I've thought about bees, I know a few people who keep them. But I don't want them interfering with all the lovely native bees in my garden... I really like the solitary bees, and honey bees just edge them out of the environment....

I've looked into it even spoke to several of the local beekeepers and we have a beekeepers club here locally as well to learn more.. I kinda decided against it because of the season here and it being colder n wetter then some bee places alot more fuss and work and one of the LAST things I wanna be doing with bee's is alot of interaction..if I recall right problem is season being so short the bee's dont necessarily make enough honey for harvesting and themselves........

soo i've decided to simply plant lots of pollinater attracters and help out the wild bee's as best I can.... we moved in end of growing season here and I transfered all of my container garden here and we had lots n lots of bee's and butterflys showing up...seen alot of bumble bee's this year
