I have to rant just a little. I will not bore everyone with the details (and no this has nothing to do with SCG's secret) but I completely understand why people go "postal" on rare occasions. OK 'nuff said. Tomorrow will be better for sure

A WEEK. I would have swore it would take less time than that, or I wouldn't have started the teaser yesterday.


BF just took care of my Ginger, the other no-named internal laying chicken and the lame duck.
Ginger was such a sweet bird, but when I got home today she was resting on her wing and couldn't get up the stairs into the coop and someone had pecked her comb a bit (suspect: turkey). I hate this part of animal keeping. I know it had to be done, but I'm really going to miss my Ginger. She used to greet me every day and then when she got sick and could no longer get in the coop through the chicken door she'd have to wait for me to get the big person door open. I always looked forward to our little time. I feel relieved that she's no longer suffering, but she was just so sweet. It hurts and is sad no matter which bird it is, but when it's one of the special ones...

I'm going to be a wreck if Hoppy, Piggy, Tonya Harding, FatOne or Banty ever go. I can't imagine my life without those little imps.
