She did, actually, except for the freezing rain that soaked us. I'm pretty sure she's not going to enjoy smelting. But we will get some good laughs out of it.

I got her to sew 2 matching pillowcases tonight, too.

I think if I had offered to show my lost teeth to the family, they might have paid me off NOT TO!

I think this time the boys from the northwest will have a bit more difficult time than the last time they played each other. Neutral ground and all that this time. No home field, 12th player advantage. I think the best QB in NFL history wins it and takes home his 4th Lombardi. But then I've been a Pat's fan for over 40 years

The time of year when even I watch Merkan Football is approaching. I think this will be the fifth year I watch the game, I'm starting to get a grasp of the rules.

I think it's ridiculous and America-centric that we play in the US against only US teams and get to declare ourselves "world champions."

Anyway, I'm a bit bitter this morning, I'm a Packers fan.


I also just spent an hour spreading 100 lbs of salt in the disaster that is my driveway in the attempt to break up the glacier that is my driveway. I do not want to careen down it sideways, screaming, with my mother. Mostly because I won't enjoy it. I think she'd love it.

I actually think that American Football, along with Basketball, is one of those sports where most other countries wouldn't stand much of a chance against US teams.
