The Old Folks Home

pennies. used to fill the can with pennies. Not too many because #1 too many and it won't make enough noise and #2 too heavy and it's hard to throw. Also, NEVER hit them with it! It's a great off leash training technique I was taught while working with a professional guard dog trainer training my own protection dog.

SCG - congrats!!! more pics and updates!!!!

LOVE to make ice cream! But not today.... There's 4" of snow on the ground and just not ice cream weather. (Although I'm sure Diva will pipe up that ice cream can be enjoyed in a blizzard)

Favorite flavor (home made) is a malted base with dark chocolate shavings. Second would be a good peach ice cream.

Store-bought... Tilamook has a divine chocolate. LOVE Strawberry Cheesecake. Ben & Jerry's almost any one of them. Like the Magnum ice cream bars, too.

Nope.... Still no desire for it today despite thinking about the yummy ones. Diva can have my share.

We have a Peach grower that has some fantastic Peach ice cream. Of course being in Peach county, peach anything is popular here. Peaches are much better fresh off of the tree.

Ever notice that there is just something special about the way a Georgian says "peaches?" You can almost hear how good they are!

I'm going cray cray crazy with the ayam cemani roos having an epic crowing contest. I have 8 total roos, 3 with crow reduction surgery, leaving 5 at full throttle.

I have a gelato machine that I use heavily :) but I want a new/different model. I did a candied bacon caramel that was lovely, raspberry chambord is a big hit along with meyer limincello. Dark chocolate sorbet with caramel sauce. Delish. OMG I now have to begin my custard base. Dang it. Picts to follow tomorrow.

I'm jealous of your hatch. Still nothing here. Dang it.

Do you mean the Southern Georgian or the former Soviet Georgian?

I'm thinking the latter sounds less romantic...

We are talking about the Peach State, Southern US Georgian. Though I am originally from Alabama. Several of my ancestors are buried in Skipperville, the home of Bamadude.
