Sorry guys, hard to keep up with the thread when I sleep about 16 hours a day ( 2 naps)thanks for thinking of me,
FELIX My absolute favorite is Haagen Das Rocky Road- the only bad thing about it is 14 oz. is just too little. BTW MY birthday is July 7 th. and I would never refuse gifts of HD Rocky Road OR huge sums of money.

When I was still a young'un I made homemade ice cream from an very old Betty Crocker dessert book. It was chocolate and I think you used Hersey chocolate syrup (the only flavor in those days)and whipping cream and other stuff I can't remember. You put it in those old metal ice cube trays - with the metal divider thingie taken out. And froze it.It was smooth and delicious. Little did I know that young people can consume tons of calories and older folk(me) cannot.
