Now we're talkin! There was a time I would like to go to a resort..but I could acutually use some of those things. No wait, I think I have everything but the turtle wax...that belongs to my DH.
Been to a nice resort or two in the past.

Those stinkers, I was swinging that thing for the life of me, and they never ever even
brought it down..yes, there was a lot of laughing. Me..getting ready for the pinata.



Ok! That was fun. There are actually two different yrs..in a row of our trips. We were stuck inland while Hurricane Wilma came through nice and slow, at catagory 5! So glad they took us inland. Got some good snorkling in though before it got close. And then a whole lot more the second yr. Love snorkling!

Trying to decide on which hamburger place I want to go to tomorrow. Yep. Maybe I'll ask for some turtle wax.

That looks like Tulum. I love the Yucatan.

The place Mrs Oz stayed at was was less fancy. Just a clean AC room and a nice pool. Its way way off the tourist beat so its very affordable - less than $40 for a room that housed my wife, 2 nanniesand the kids, Inday took along the gardener from her parents place in Bacolod in case she had a flat or issues with the goat. His was a dorm room for $8.

If that was Tulume ..... I been there... Such an awesome place. I went on an inner island cruise starting at Florida out to the bahamas then Jamaica and Grand Cayman then Cosumel. At Cosumel we took a ferry to the mainland to Plya Del Carmen and a bus to Tulume. twenty four years ago... wow. my life is sooo different now.

I was constantly amazed at how impossibly white the beaches were and how blue the ocean was. When we walked down the docks to the boat you could see the bottom right next to the pier... Soime of the Jamaican waiters were fishing off the pier and having a giggle fest... And Catching fish... But that water had to be at least fifty feet deep to allow for a ship to dock...

And you could see the white sand and a few rocks on the bottom.... clear as day.....
