Imho a major design flaw: Its a clear piece of plastic stapled to the sensor. Miller mfg says "do not remove clear plastic from sensor". It moves all around with the auto turner. I have a brinsea spot check and a accurite that reads the same as the brinsea. When the sensor moves the temp spikes.
And when a chick hatches and moves the sensor...It goes haywire

i woul pin the sensor to the side of the bator jusy above the lip

I had fried corn meal mush and sloppy eggs for breakfast, do you guys eat yellow corn meal mush, or just grits?

we eat a good bit of grits.
We make "water bread" with yellow corn meal.

Im 2 weeks into a hatch. I will prob take the plastic thingy off next time and try to anchor the sensor. Im thinking it needs a better fan. Temp is 102 on one end and 99 on the othet
