A chick that I hatched has a cross beak and every now and then DH and I wrap her in a towel and use some large toenail clippers to trim her beak then use the dremel to shape it up so that she can eat. I know is happened due to my bator jumping up and down in temp and not genetics. As I bought her eggs from a APA Poultry judge. She is pretty and I like her so we kept her she is very sweet.
