OMG I just unpacked my beehive, it's been sitting in the basement in 2 large boxes for about 3 weeks. I figured it couldn't be that hard to assemble. After unpacking, I have about 8 Lincoln-Log-Purgatory-Style stacks of wood to put together. This kind of thing really puts me in a mood of despair. There are also no assembly directions. I'm on my own trying to figure out which slot each Lincoln Log fits into.

Ok a quick rant then back to figuring out if I am going to make a couple of tons of Cheesecake or what.

I see that BYC is considering joining forces with facebook.
If that happens, I sadly will have to drop the site.
facebook has it's place but to me, it is not for me.
I know alot of you if not all are on Facebook and that is ok but I will not want anything I post here to be posted elsewhere for others to read or think they can send me adds or offers that I have no interest in or want or worse collect any info for uses I have no control over.
We all know how bad FB privacy issues are and I will not sign into a place I don't trust just to be a part of a site. In fact I have dropped sites, banks and other places that require you to sign into FB just to see or read something. Big Brother is alive and well. trust me.


Ok, back to normal. A rainy start that ended up a nice sunny late afternoon.

so no, there are no Cheese Cake factories around here, so either I make and send it off or have you come here for it. snickers......

As I told Wisher, I didn't see the Facebook thing until after I'd heard it was a joke, but the mods pull a joke every year, so I was expecting something (isn't BYC fun?). Knowing how often I've seen people get scolded for bringing FB drama here, I wouldn't have believed it if I had seen it before I was told about it.

I hope that the facebook merger is just a joke! I am on fb but I don't get on it much any more there is way to much drama on there. It used to be more family friendly but alot of their advertisements were so bad that I had to download apps just to block the ads! And most of my kids won't let their kids on fb any more either!
