Chickadoodles - all is fine. I liked the video, never knew turkeys could be so cool!! I had read on Backyard Poultry magazine, years ago, that one family had a tom turkey they were crazy about - he was like a big, feathered dog. That didn't stop them from eating him though. A presidential pardon would have been nice.

Diva my DIL had a Broad Breasted Bronze tom that was their pet he was so cool. People just loved him. I only raised two for our food so far. But they are great pets. I'm happy you liked the video.

I love the turkey sounds they make...noodle is smaller I am starting to think it isnt another bronze breasted turkey...or a hen dumpling is so much bigger....and noodle was a mystery chick was either bronze or a narratuck or however ya spell it

Hey guys, so hard to keep up. You travel so fast.

Chickendoodles, sorry about your cow and calf. Rotten luck.
I reinjured my knee a touch so have been taking a break trying to follow orders.

Here's what I've been up to lately:

The jakes will also grow faster than the girls.

I love the turkey sounds also, but it is driving me crazy right now. My toms are like guard dogs and the feed lot across the street is in full swing this time of year. Raising and selling and shipping calf's all over the country. The guys are working 7 days a week and my gobblers don't know what the heck those big ol cow haulers are.
