Very pretty horses Bunnylady.

@Peep_Show
I built a 24x28 garage transporting all the materials with a subaru wagon and a '93 caravan Lol! The long 2x6s I stacked between the front seats of the caravan from the dash hanging out the back. Took many trips but I built it slowly anyway, didn't have much time.
We have a small Colorado and when we bought all the materials for the coop and pens we had to have it all delivered, at least the delivery was free.

I hauled home enough lumber from lowes to build my parents a porch and steps. I had a Buick and filled the trunk and back seat three times to get enough lumber to make it nice for them.
I just had it cut to fit in my car.

Diva, they are of porcine origin.

Peep, do you have roof mounts for that thing? Great for transporting lumber. I usually use a trailer for long stuff though. It's legal to go 2 meters (7 feet) over the back end of a vehicle here, so you can usually get some lumber on one easily.

I wish my local home improvement stores had free delivery! It would've made for less piecemeal. Anyway, I'm just about done. The only remaining things to be bought are the asphalt shingles, lumber for the doors, hardware for the doors and lots of sand for the run floor. Oh, so close and I'm so tired....

@ the home depot, we can rent a truck or trailer....

Still no email notifications.... sigh.

But with regard to building supplies if the cost goes over a certain amount.... Like 200 dollars delivery is free up to x amount of miles. After that you pay x amount per 20 miles. It was well worth it when I ordered lumber for my green house conversion.... We had six by sixes and six by eights for the one wall that would be a twelve foot door eventually and two by sixes for the span of the roof.... they had to be twelve feet... so having a big truck and some one to unload it was well worth the xtra money.
