Been over it a bunch of times.... two or three in the fog Mostly at night... Its the only quick way to get to Coronado. Down the middle of it they have one of those moveable partitions to allow for more lanes during rush hour.

Its the only one I cant look over the side on .... Have to keep my eye on the road a head and not hitting that moveable partition.

There are some great Night clubs in Coronado.... Back in my day of carousing... Lots of Sailors to... hee hee.

How do the Sailors make it back from liberty?

LOL.... walk... half of Coronado island is Navy base....

And I was into CW dancing and a night out was with Gentlemen buying a lady a drink and a dance or two.
The Sub Guys were a little on the certifiable side. The Seal guys were very quiet... I dated a fellow that was stationed on the Pigeon... A sub rescue ship... One of two dual hulls in the Navy. Pigeon on the West coast and either lark or sparrow on the east coast. He used to laugh because Sail boarders could pass them up.

Danced regularly with an Aircraft controller for one of the Aircraft Carriers...

When I was eighteen we girls There were four of us... we girls would go to Miramar Naval Air Station to the Enlisted Club.... If you were a car full of girls you could get on the Navy base with a nod and a grin.... LOL. We would march into the club and they would check IDs and everyone who was under 21 would get a big Black NO stamped on our hands.... 'course we marched right into the restroom to put on our makeup and wash our hands....

I was always astonished at how WHITE those uniforms were in black light.

I didnt discover Coronado till after I was 21.

Gawd that was 39 years ago.... San Diego is a military town. Navy, Marines, Coast guard, and back then an Army ICBM tracking station in the mountains. I dated the only Army guy in San Diego.....

I am only supposed to have six hens.....

For reals??!

For all the breeding and brooding you do I sort of expect birds stuffed into every nook and cranny. Oh.... Wait. That's right. Don't you have a flock off-premises somewhere?

But, really, only six? (How can you survive having such a paltry amount? I mean, that's near anemic for one so afflicted with chicken fever.) Is this a Woodland rule or your neighborhood CC&R's?

It is a City Ordinance--I do have chickens in Winters so most of the chicks go out there. I am hatching some Pita Pintas for a guy in the Bay Area today.

tnspurs that is a great hatch and they are all so cute!

vehve the bunnies pics are to die for!

High cotton I love the duck pics so cute!
All the babies are so adorable!

Here is our first broody hen this year one of the Buff Orps decided to go broody DH and I really have no idea when the eggs are due to hatch. We just moved her to a brooder so the chicks won't get lost. This is her first time so I hope she will be a great momma!
