Glad no one was hurt and no significant damage. That's gonna be a mess & lot of work to clean up, but you'll get a cord or two out of it and plenty of time for it to season before you'll be using it. Do you or someone close have a splitter? I guess you could rent one after you get it all cut to stove length.

Got the treadle machine cleaned up and oiled and ready to go. Took me about 8 hours to take all the plates off and clean all the moving parts and remove much of the rust. I am missing the shuttle (that the bobbin goes in) but I ordered a replacement. Can't wait for it to come so I can see if I can get it to work. The bobbin winder is really fun to play with. I have one old bobbin with some really old rotted thread on it that I was able to get back on the bobbin winder I removed and cleaned and it appears I put it back on correctly!
She had plenty to drink. She was tired!
