I'm good. I feel infinitely better. No more aches. I had it easy, though.

He's on his second course of prednisone. A few days ago he started to get some activity back in his lips, but still has no control over his eye and lid. He'll be out of work another week (that's 5 so far) which means I'll be picking up more 16 hour days and more long stretches that include weekends without days off to help cover the gaps. It is what it is.

Dsqard, I'm really going to need this fall vacation.

In 24 minutes I'll find out if I'm the proud new owner of some guinea eggs. Die, ticks, die.

PS I was going to link this for Diva, but I'm not sure how much I trust this site now... pretty sure Norway is not in Ecuador. I have to say I'm not great with geography, so I could be wrong, especially while I'm waiting for the Benadryl to significantly kick in...

DANG that is funny! (Location of Norway)!!! Even the climate is off... But at least they picked a spot that has some land with a steep descent into a body of water areas. Never been even close to that area of South America .... But I have seen photos and I am sure that with enough libations you could pretend the coast had fjords... Yeah...... Sure....
