We actually found some frozen rabbit (and quail also) in our grocery store last weekend. Cooked up the rabbit a couple nights ago. A first for me, but it was great meat. Not happy with the recipe we used, but the meat itself was surprisingly tasty to me. The bad news... 18 bucks for a single frozen rabbit! I should just raise some, but I don't know...

I have it was a recipe by Graham Kerr Back when I was in highschool.  It was back in 1970ish.    Safeway actually had rabbit on occasion I was barely driving and had a little money.

The ingredients required me to make my own sausage suffing from scratch  We had a meat grinder I ground up pork and beef and garlic and onions...  I forget what else.  sTuffed the rabbit and sewed it up.  Then herbs and butter on the outside and Roasted it in the oven.

Its been 46 years since I cooked it but I do remember my dad LOVED it  Mom she wouldnt look at it till I cut two leggs off then she was like Homer Simpson eating Pinchy.....  :lau

Havent had it since.  They stopped selling it in stores.  And I havent been to a real butcher shop in that long either.

OMG food network had the recipe

I forgot this is where I learned how to bone a rabbit.....

Run that last part by me again lol.

Huh? I never do any hatching threads (I usually set eggs to hatch in conjunction with when the wild birds hatch...basically so I can put the day olds out on the lawns...that be in July in the Great White North)
