The Old Folks Home

Well Deb, you know if you start sampling it about 6 hours, you'll be able to tell when it's done :) (That is if you haven't finished it by then

They were always finding "stuff" in trees or that episode about the Cadaver farm....

Though my favorite episode was about the Furry convention.....

Been to Vegas for NAB.... National Association of Broadcasters... My boyfriend embarrassed me royally.... you see they had this ""model"" posing and you could run a real live TV camera....

Furry conventions sound scary...Add some bronies and I'll keep a way for sure, thank you very much.

Deb, super simple crock pot recipe: Grab a couple pounds of pork neck, rub in some salt and pepper, toss it in the crockpot and pour on a can of (non-diet-)coke. Cook at 200F for 5-6 hours, shred to pieces and you've got yourself some delicious pulled pork ready. I like to lather on some BBQ sauce and eat it with roasted potato wedges and other root fruits, Karin isn't such a big fan of the BBQ sauce so she just spoons on some of the juices from cooking the meat.

By the way, can you set a crock pot to, say, 100F? That would be great for making dough.

You are right Perchie, I recall an episode where the guy was murdering people and letting his pigs devour them. I think they found shoes and figured out what was happening.

That one really upset me. I guess the older I get the weaker the stomach. Stopped watching tv when I realized so many of the shows started with a murder and proceeded from there.

I haven't watched any tv for the last two years or so. Get the weather from the weather radio. Check out fox news on line to see what major doom is facing us for the day, and then stick with BYC - in between my numerous naps.

On occasion I stream some old movie or show from Netflix.

Bunny, I have no problems with a sparkly pony. It's the guy who thinks he's a sparkly pony that I prefer to steer clear from.

By the way Bunny, got any experience with loud noises around bunnies? The neighboring plot is finally starting construction now, and apparently they're going to blast a bit of rock away to make room for the foundations, I'm a bit worried since this will be happening about a hundred feet from our bunnies.
