Thanks Deb! We have some similar for our chickens. Now I will hunt some waterers for them that will hold them 4-5 days.

Chicka, I was going to suggest something similar as Deb did. I made a U out of 4" PVC piping, put on lids on the tops for filling and in the straight part on the bottom I cut out an opening. I suggest not making the opening too large, because the bigger it is, the easier it is for them to scratch out feed. We installed our's on the door so that it swings out when opening the pen, and it's easy to fill. It's been in use for about half a year now with no chewing. They do get branches to chew on though. We cut down a 100 foot pine in the fall, the bunnies have gone through about two thirds of the branches of it now. The winter weather has been handy, it has kept them fresh looking.

Loved that meat and drink song, we sang it in Elementary school. Along with this one;

Thanks vehve. Our doors open inward and up. But we will manage to get something in there for them. Even if I have to cut a hole in the front to put the feeder through. We also give our rabbits large sticks to chew on.

I REFUSE to watch this!!! I don't want that song stuck in my head! I, and my 2 kids, volunteered at a day camp for mentally challenged kids and adults every day for a week and that's all they sang on the bus for miles!!! and of course from then on the rest of the summer that's all my two sang on every trip we took in the car. Took me years to get that stupid song out of my head. Oh great, it's baaaaaaack
