Yes Ron, most correctumundo...I thought they had me set on some setting where they did not want me notifying others on BYC...heh heh heh...thought I was SPECIAL...SO special and not allowed to call anyone out...dang it all!

Well good golly JOY...

Typing the "@" (which of course I thought was all that was done plus the name--duh--quit simplifying life, eh) and being patient to WAIT long enough (nothing patient about old folks...unless we are meaning HOSPITAL-type patient) and sure enough, wait a sec and then a drop down list appears <kewl> and refines itself as you continue to type the name out whereupon one may click the correct handle and voila, called someone OUT! Well well...WONDDERFUL!

Not being SO SPECIAL is a great thing.

Thank you Ron...you have done the impossible. You have taught an old hag-dog a NEW TRICK!

Had no clue your current employment but it is shining thru!

My fav for ALL computer fixes has to stem from my enjoyment of watching the English comedy The IT Crowd... "have you tried shutting it off and on again!" This HORRIBLE advice goes along with a DEFRAG <tell you what I'll fragment if I get told to do that ONE more time, eh!> and the "shut off and start it up again" advice even stems down to my current part time work...school bus driver. Whenever an error message shows up on a bus display the gang at the shop will usually more often than naught (knot, not, nope...) advise one to shut it off and restart...if the error message is still displayed, haul yer butt on in, eh. Oh well.

I also learned that a fav tact of immense amusement comes from when a mechanic innocently asks the driver/operator to make the sound they are complaining their bus is making...of course, the driver in despair is duped and loudly mimics whatever noises the bus is making OVER THE RADIO for all to hear.

Good gack already! I'll do it now but with my tongue in cheek "Yeh, the noise the bus is making is something like <DING DING>..."

Yeh, as in DING BAT! and I'm ON to yah...

I need more chick keeping space


Stupid chicks han't all sold... They are getting close to flying out of the brooder, and next weekend more will be hatching.


Ah! I could put them in the green tractor you say... Nope says I, I have 4 bantams in there.


I could put them in the quail cage you say, nice and draft free, perfect for young chicks.... Nope says I, I have my Spitz pair in there.

Oooh, maybe I could put the spitz in the overflow coop.... And then the chicks in the quail cage.... Hummmmmm

Do you not have 4 boys? They can double up. And if 2 are already in one room, they can share a bed. The chicks can have the other one.

Ooh ME WANT. There was one in the parking lot of Walgreen's. Though I dont want one to actually travel in .... I want one to live in when I remodel the house. There is a place where I can hook up septic and water.

The kitchen needs to be gutted and its access to the bathroom. So having someplace secure where I can live would be nice.

Scott, I'm sure you can find something similar online with the right search terms. Even if I were to pose for such a picture, you wouldn't see anything because my natural skin color reflects light from the sun or a flash so well that you can't make out anything in the picture. A certain Procol Harum song describes me well...

She is so pale that really pale people are happy to be around someone even more pale they they are.

I REFUSE to watch this!!! I don't want that song stuck in my head! I, and my 2 kids, volunteered at a day camp for mentally challenged kids and adults every day for a week and that's all they sang on the bus for miles!!! and of course from then on the rest of the summer that's all my two sang on every trip we took in the car. Took me years to get that stupid song out of my head. Oh great, it's baaaaaaack

You can always replace it with "99 bottles of beer".

I have 5 boys. All five are in the same bedroom. They already need a shoehorn to get in and out of that room

They used to share mattresses, but now that the youngest is 7, they each have their own. Not sure how happy they would be if I told them that one mattress was leaving.

It would give them motivation to clean out more of the toyroom... So that I have more chick space in there. good idea!

I stopped the emails there were just to many of them.

Same here, too many emails. I use my phone email for byc, not home email. I don't check it very often, rarely, but when I do need to I don't want tons of emails, so I turned notifications off.

I use emails extensively sorted and filtered and stashed away in their own folders.

My inbox is for junk but I do look at it periodically and delete mercilessly.

My wife's in charge of home email. I as far as byc I try to pay attention so if someone quotes or asks a question I usually see it, I'm only on a few threads. Filtering through, deleting and all that on my phone is difficult being I don't check it often (and I'm kinda technologically inept Lol)..
