Can any of you tell me what kind of tree this is? It smells so sweet and delishious! Like it makes you want to eat it!

The top is the whole tree and this little bit is for a close up of the leaves and blossoms. It smells like honeysuckle or something that sweet.
I am pretty sure that is Privet.........
Thanks Wisher and Alaskan. I looked at some photo's of Privet's and they do look like this. I don't know but boy does it smell good!

Diva your post make me laugh so hard. I had to take one of my kids door off the hinges once. And then she took the doors off of 2 of her kids rooms!

You know me and research
Privet tree from Wikipedia.... lists 50 species If it grows berries its a Privet and those berries are poisonous... except to birds.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Privet

The Integrated Taxonomic Information System lists eleven "accepted" species of Ligustrum.[11] Additional species are listed in other references.[12][13][14]

deb, you're
68
I would never have thought it was a privet based on what I have growing here. The many different varieties explains why my privet is shrubby and doesn't have a fragrance or the impressive looking flower that @chickadoodles has on hers. Once again, I learn something from your research!

Interesting weeds we have blooming

The original plants were red like the ones in the background, but they keep multiplying and seeding themselves in, with some color variations to make it more fun.

Those aren't weeds, they're Amaryllis. I plant them out too but have to bring the bulbs in for winter.

Nice job on getting them to propagate.

CC, that was meant as a joke. Amaryllis love it around here; they freeze back to the ground in the winter, but multiply freely. This particular type lacks some of the 'substance' of a lot of named varieties, but it produces enough viable seeds that I have them coming up all over my flower beds. Rather a nice sort of "problem" to have.
